Union Bank of India Recruitment Project 2026-27 me kul 395 Officer vacancies ko official notification ke anusar 3 broad verticals me divide kiya gaya hai. Isse aapko post code wise clarity milegi:

Clarity Note: Is tarah G01-G19 ka total 107 (52+50+5) banta hai aur S01-S108 ka total 288, jiska Grand Total 395 hota hai. Yehi official PDF ke anusaar sahi structure hai. Post Code ≠ Vacancy – Ek Post Code par multiple vacancies ho sakti hain.

Important Note: All qualifications must be through full-time regular courses from recognized universities/institutions. No equivalent qualification considered. Dual specialization me major specialization prescribed stream me hona chahiye. – As per Page 43-44.

Experience Details – Post-wise

Experience requirement varies by post and scale. Candidates should check post-wise eligibility in official notification Page 7-42.

• Scale II (MMGS-II): Minimum 2-3 Years relevant experience in Banking / IT / Relevant Domain after post-qualification (e.g. Forex Officer II – 3 Years in Banking, Cloud Administrator – 3 Years in Cloud Infra/DevOps, Civil Engineer II – 4 Years as Civil Engineer in Govt/PSU)
• Scale III (MMGS-III): Minimum 5-6 Years relevant experience (e.g. Forex Officer III – 5 Years Banking, API Management III – 5 Years API Development/Integration, Data Scientist III – 5 Years Analytics/DS roles with 2 Years advanced analytics/ML, Law Officer III – 7 Years total as Advocate/Law Officer with 4 Years as Law Officer in SCB/PSU)
• Scale IV (SMGS-IV): Minimum 7-8 Years (e.g. CA-Taxation IV – 8 Years Officer/Managerial in Banks with 5 Years at HO handling Taxation/GST/TDS, Architect IV – 8 Years as Architect in Central/State Govt/PSU)
• Scale V (SMGS-V): Minimum 10-12 Years with 5+ Years in Leadership / HO Level (e.g. Project Management Professional V – 10 Years managing BFSI Projects with 3 Years as Project Manager, Law Officer V – 15 Years total as Advocate/Law Officer with 10 Years as Law Officer in SCB/PSU/Govt)
• Scale VI (TEGS-VI): Minimum 12-15 Years with 5-8 Years in Senior Leadership (e.g. Data Centre Specialist VI – 15 Years IT Infra & Data Centre Operations with 8 Years in senior leadership managing Tier-III/Tier-IV DCs, Enterprise Architect VI – 15 Years in Banking/FS/IT with 8 Years in senior managerial roles)

Age Limit & Relaxation – As per Notification

Age Relaxation (Page 45-46): SC/ST – 5 Years, OBC (NCL) – 3 Years, PwBD – 10 Years, Ex-Servicemen / ECO/SSCO (5 Years service) – 5 Years, 1984 Riots Affected – 5 Years. SC/ST/OBC ka relaxation sirf ek additional category ke saath cumulative milega. Creamy Layer OBC not entitled.

Reservation Rules – Detailed

As per Page 2 of Notification, total 395 vacancies me SC-57, ST-27, OBC-105, EWS-36, UR-170 hai. Out of which PwBD – VI-5, HI-5, OC-7, ID-2 reserved hai. OBC Certificate 01.04.2026 ke baad ka with Non-Creamy Layer clause hona chahiye (Annexure-IV). EWS Certificate FY 2025-26 income par based aur FY 2026-27 ke liye valid hona chahiye (Annexure-VII). PwBD Certificate District Medical Board dwara (Annexure-V). Temporary disability “likely to improve” not eligible for reservation as per OM dated 17.12.2025.

Salary Structure & Perks – Detailed

CTC approximate hai aur posting location, DA change, wage revision, Bank ke schemes aur staff benefits par depend karta hai case to case basis. In addition, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance and other allowances payable as per prevailing rules. Officer will be eligible for residential quarters/lease rent in lieu of quarters, LFC, reimbursement of medical/hospitalization expenses and other perquisites as per Bank policy. – As per Page 1.

Application Fees – Verified as per Notification

Fee Note: Application fee is as prescribed in the official notification Page 56 and includes applicable GST. Bank transaction charges for online payment will have to be borne by candidate. Fee is non-refundable. Verified from official PDF.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern – Verified

As per Page 48-51, Bank reserves right to conduct Online Examination / Group Discussion (if required) / Any other test/assessment and/or Personal Interview depending on number of applicants. Mere satisfying eligibility does not entitle to be called for interview.

For Posts up to Scale-III (G01-G19 & S01-S108 where applicable):

• Online Examination: Professional Knowledge Relevant to Post – 50 Multiple Choice Questions – 100 Marks – 60 Minutes Duration
• For General Banking (G01-G19) up to Scale-III: Additional Qualifying Tests – Quantitative Aptitude (25 Q – 25 Marks) + Reasoning (25 Q – 25 Marks) + English Language (25 Q – 25 Marks) – 60 Minutes. These 3 tests are qualifying in nature and marks not reckoned for final merit. English test only in English, others bilingual English & Hindi.
• Total for G01-G19: 125 Questions – 175 Marks – 120 Minutes Total Duration

For Scale-IV, V, VI: Group Discussion (if required) and/or Any other test/assessment and/or Personal Interview (100 Marks) as decided by Bank. Candidates called in ratio 1:3 against vacancies.

Service Bond Details – Important

As per Page 48, Probation Period will be 2 Years active service from date of joining.

• G01 to G19 (General Banking, Domain Experts, Vendor Non-IT): Selected candidates required to execute Service Indemnity Bond undertaking to serve Bank for minimum 3 Years or to pay Bank sum of Rs.2,00,000/- (Two Lakhs) + applicable taxes if leaves before 3 Years.
• S01 to S108 (Specialist Officers – Forex, IT, CA, Law, Engineer etc.): Service Indemnity Bond for 3 Years or Rs.2,50,000/- (Two Lakh Fifty Thousand) + applicable taxes.

Candidates should carefully read bond conditions before applying. Existing employees of Union Bank of India if selected shall resign from present positions and re-join Bank service afresh.

Documents Required for Interview

• Printout of valid Interview Call Letter + Valid system generated printout of online application form
• Proof of DOB (Birth Certificate issued by Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/Std X Certificate with DOB)
• Photo Identity Proof – Same name as call letter – PAN/Aadhaar/Passport/Permanent Driving Licence/Voter Card/Bank Passbook with Photo/Photo ID issued by Gazetted Officer/College ID/Employee ID – Ration Card & Learners DL NOT accepted
• Mark sheets & Certificates/Degree for educational qualifications – Result declared on or before 10.08.2026
• Caste Certificate – SC/ST (Annexure-III), OBC (NCL) issued on or after 01.04.2026 with Non-Creamy Layer clause (Annexure-IV), EWS Income & Asset Certificate FY 2025-26 based valid FY 2026-27 (Annexure-VII), Disability Certificate (Annexure-V) & Scribe Declaration (Annexure-VI)
• Experience Certificate – Annexure-II format on Letter Head of Bank/FI/Company, issued by Competent Authority at Controlling Office/HO level with Period From-To, Designation, Nature of Duties
• NOC from employer if serving in Govt/PSU/Public Sector Banks/FI, Ex-Servicemen Service/Discharge Book + PPO

How to Apply Online for Union Bank Recruitment 2026 – Step by Step

1. Go to Bank’s official website www.unionbankofindia.co.in and click Recruitment Page to open Career Overview, then Click to View Current Recruitment to open link “UNION BANK RECRUITMENT PROJECT 2026-27” and then click “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE” – As per Page 57.
2. To register, choose tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact details, Email-id. Provisional Registration Number & Password generated by system and displayed on screen. Email & SMS also sent.
3. If unable to complete in one go, save data via “SAVE AND NEXT” tab. Validate details and Save. No change possible after “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”. Name, Father/Husband spelling same as Certificates/ID Proof.
4. Upload Photograph (20kb-50kb, 200×230 px), Signature (10kb-20kb, 140×60 px, NOT IN CAPITAL LETTERS), Left Thumb Impression (20kb-50kb, 240×240 px, 200 DPI) & Handwritten Declaration (50kb-100kb, 800×400 px, 200 DPI) – Text: “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.” in English only, own handwriting. Also capture live photograph via webcam or mobile QR scan – As per Annexure-I Page 65-67.
5. Fill other details, Preview and verify entire application form before COMPLETE REGISTRATION.
6. Click Payment Tab and pay via Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/Mobile Wallets/UPI. Wait for intimation from server, DO NOT press Back or Refresh to avoid double charge. On success, e-Receipt generated. Take printout of e-Receipt and Online Application Form. If e-Receipt not generated, payment failure – login again with Provisional Reg No & Password and repeat payment.
7. Close browser after transaction for security. Do NOT send printout to Bank. Apply much before closing date to avoid heavy load on website – As per Page 58-59.
