Academic Qualification – Category A & B
Eligibility ko sirf “Master’s + NET” tak simplify nahi kiya ja sakta. Notification ke according, non-fine-arts subjects (jaise Hindi, English, Economics, Science, Commerce, Agriculture group etc.) ke liye do categories hain:
Category A: Master’s Degree, NET/SLET/SET & Ph.D. Eligibility
- Category A: Relevant subject mein Master’s Degree kam se kam 55% marks ke saath (ya grading system mein equivalent grade) recognised Indian university se, saath hi UGC/CSIR NET, ya SLET/SET qualify kiya ho — YA UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure) Regulations 2009 ya 2016 ke under Ph.D. ho. Aise Ph.D. holders ko NET/SLET/SET se exemption milti hai, subject to 5 conditions: regular-mode Ph.D., minimum do external examiners dwara evaluation, open oral (viva) examination, do research papers publish (kam se kam ek referred journal mein), aur UGC/ICSSR/CSIR ya similar agency se sponsored conferences mein kam se kam do papers present kiye ho.
Category B: Foreign University Ph.D. Eligibility
- Category B: QS, THE ya Shanghai Jiao Tong World University Ranking mein top 500 world university ranking mein aane wali kisi foreign university se relevant subject mein Ph.D.
Fine Arts & Music Subjects
- Fine Arts/Music/Sitar/Tabla subjects (alag provision): Master’s Degree 55% + NET/SLET/SET ya Ph.D. — YA ek distinguished traditional/professional artist jisne renowned ustaad/kalakar ke under study kiya ho, jo AIR/Doordarshan ka Grade-A artist ho, jo subject ko logical arguments ke saath explain kar sake, aur relevant vidya mein sadaahar principles padhaane ka pura gyan rakhta ho.
5% Qualifying Marks Relaxation
- 5% relaxation: SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Divyangjan candidates ko qualifying marks mein 5% relaxation milti hai. Jin Ph.D. degree holders ne 19 September 1991 se pehle Ph.D. degree prapt ki hai, unhe minimum 55% se 50% marks tak 5% relaxation di jayegi.
